Exploring the Landscape: Big Valley, Alberta, Canada: St Edmund's Anglican Church on the hill was built in 1916 with a financial gift from a donor in England. It was to be built 'anywhere in Western Canada', and Big Valley at the time was booming with it's mining, ranching and railroad industries. The building retains many original pews and other furnishings but has not been used for regular services since the 1960's.
