Exploring the Landscape: Hafren Forest in the Cambrian Mountains, Mid Wales, is 17 square miles of conifers planted by the Forestry Commission since 1937. It takes its name from the Afon Hafren, more widely known as the Severn, which is a few miles to the west and flows through the woodland for 5 miles. |
